Meet Alex Yang Shi from Hong Kong, China.

Alex and his co-founder Vincent Yuan Li, are two go-getters who spotted a big headache for e-commerce sellers and decided to do something about it.

In late 2022, they launched Kua.ai. Alex, a wizard with AI from his days at AWS in Silicon Valley, and Vincent, who knows the e-commerce ropes as a DTC (Direct To Consumer) brand founder, make a powerhouse duo.

Kua.ai is the full time occupation for Vincent and Alex, and they get a helping hand running the business from 5 full-time staff.

What is Kua.ai?

Ever noticed how selling on Amazon, Shopify, and Etsy feels like juggling while blindfolded? Different rules, SEO tricks, and tons of time wasted.

Vincent and I saw sellers struggling and thought, "Why not make a tool that simplifies all this?" And boom, Kua.ai was born - your new best friend for managing sales across multiple platforms.

The primary text says: "Multichannel selling powered by AI. 1 Product, 20+ Channels, 10x Sales. Generate SEO-friendly and channel-specific listings, blogs, and social media posts for Amazon, Shopify, WooCommerce, Etsy, TikTok, Instagram and other channels."

Imagine you could turn a boring old poduct code (yep, an ASIN) into a slick, SEO-friendly article that pulls in buyers. That's what Kua.ai does.

It’s like having a secret weapon that transforms your Amazon listings into gold for your Shopify or WooCommerce store, all while you sip coffee and watch the traffic roll in.

Our first BIG break

The journey took off when Kua.ai teamed up with AppSumo early in 2024. They rolled out a lifetime deal that caught the eye of tons of WooCommerce merchants, skyrocketing Kua.ai to its first 100 paid users (life time deals) very fast.

SEO

We’ve also seen some decent results offering free tools for SEO purposes.

SEO is a long-term journey, always focusing on the right keywords which bring you sales. You can always target trending keywords that might bring you traffic in the short term. However, if the people searching for these keywords are not your target audience, that traffic won’t lead to conversions. It’s important to avoid investing in such keywords.

Current status

Currently Kua.ai has 100,000+ users - with less than 10% being paid users.

What’s next?

We are on a mission to team up with the best Amazon gurus, Shopify pros, and Etsy experts. They’re all about sharing the love and making e-commerce easier for everyone.

Our main focus is to collaborate with experts and key opinion leaders (KOLs) in these fields, with the goal of turning them into our affiliates. We would like them to serve as product ambassadors to help us promote our product. Given our small scale, we prefer to offer compensation in the form of profit sharing.
